THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD
Silver Award Expedition
Have an adventure, learn to work as a team and to act on your own initiative! In groups of 4 – 7 students you will plan, train and complete a three day/two night walking expedition in wild country (Dartmoor and Exmoor), undertaking seven hours of activity per day, of which 3 ½ hours will be walking/journeying. You will be unaccompanied and truly self-reliant, but the expedition will be achievable by all and will have an agreed aim to allow you to deliver a presentation on the expedition outcomes and your experience, making it all worthwhile and enjoyable. We look forward to helping you achieve your Silver award.
