STUDENT LIBRARIANS

Student Librarians are drawn from Years 7-11. They can work towards a Student Librarian's certificate by completing various tasks, and generally help with planning and organising different library activities each term.

Sixth Form Library Ambassadors lead the younger student librarians with planning and running any sort of library-based activity that will promote reading for pleasure. This is an opportunity for them to develop their leadership and teamwork skills and to show service to the school.

It is possible to use regular volunteering in the library as the service component of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
